Women’s Ride Group
9:15 AM
ThursdayEvery Week
Beginning - 02/25/10
Ending - 10/31/10

Thursday, Every Week On going, time varies Women’s Ride Group-every Thursday.
This is a group of middle-age women who like to ride, chat and become supportive
friends. All abilities are welcome. If you want to become a more skillful rider, there are
several of us who can help you. If you like where you are, we won’t try to change you. In the
spring we usually ride locally in a different area each week. As the weather improves we
drive to other areas such as Olympia for the Chehalis-Western trail, Orting for the
Pioneer Trail, Seattle for the Burke-Gilman and more. These outings are usually all day
events. The shorter rides usually get you home late afternoon. This is a mostly stay
together group, we wait for others at corners and the top of hills and rest whenever anyone
needs to. The mileage starts about 20-25 and increases as we get more fit and the weather and
light allow us to ride longer. If you would like to be included on the (mostly) weekly
Women’s Ride Group email note, please email me, Mandy Noble, at mandynoble@centurylink.net.
Please put ‘women’s ride group’ in the subject line. If you want to talk with me, my home
number is 779-5922.I will be traveling in January and February. Regular, weekly rides
resume late February. If the weather is horrible, we have found it is nicer to walk, so
in the winter months there is almost always a Plan A and a Plan B.
