What we’re about

West Sound Cycling Club (WSCC) offers rides for cyclists who enjoy being with friends and having fun all year long. Most rides are socially-paced and include pauses at points of interest such as museums or cafes. Local rides are in Kitsap County or adjoining counties. Pacific Northwest multi-day tours (and beyond) are part of our event mix.

Our calendar of events and upcoming rides are viewable if you become a member of Meetup (free) and then join the WSCC Meetup group (also free). Click "Events" in the top menu to see the ride calendar. A link to a ride list and the calendar of events will appear below - it is easily overlooked.

NOTE*  While joining meetup and the WSCC meetup group is free and will enable you to see the calendar it does not mean you are a member of the West Sound Cycling Club.  In order to become a member of the club and utilize the  Ride With GPS club account you will have to click on the "membership form" link below and follow the prompts.

In addition to organizing rides, we advocate for safer streets for cyclists. Those of you interested in improving the health and livability of our community by promoting safer roads for cyclists and pedestrians are invited to join our Bike Advocacy Committee by sending your contact information to: wscc.advocacycommittee@gmail.com.

If you enjoy riding with us, please support the club and its bike advocacy by becoming a paid member of West sound Cycling Club. The cost of membership is $25 per year per individual, $40 per family. To join, or to renew a paid membership, click this link: 2023 Membership Form. As a paid member you are eligible to use the club's group subscription to our "Ride With GPS" (RWGPS) navigation and planning app. RWGPS gives you the ability to plan or view a club ride in minutes while learning the route distance and elevation gain. To get started using the club's RWGPS account, please contact Janet Rickey at luv2cycle.jar@gmail.com.

We require a liability waiver be signed by paid members once a year. If you are not a paid member, you will need to sign a ride waiver each time you ride with us. Ride leaders might ask for each rider's cell phone and emergency contact numbers in case of separation or accident.
